April 4, 2014 -Blackhills Football Club (BFC) and Lewis County Volcano (LCV) are excited to announce the clubs have entered into an affiliation. The guiding principles behind this agreement are the shared belief to work together for player and coaching development and optimizing resources. LCV will have one board member on the BFC Executive Board and the BFC Executive Board will oversee the LCV program. This alignment is about creating a seamless soccer development model. Under terms of the agreement BFC will provide LCV with the following support:

  • Coaches training for LCV and LC Coaches
  • Support and implement age and development appropriate training
  • Coach mentoring program
  • Jr. Academy program
  • Supplemental programs
  • Executive Board support

What happens to "LCV"?

The boards of both clubs agree that the Volcano name is an important piece of Lewis County culture. BFC will administer and run the LCV program while still maintaining the LCV name. LCV will focus on the U11 - U14 age groups. If you have any program questions please contact James Charette, BFC Technical Director at: wembleysoccer@comcast.net.
